Turns dials to set intensity and duration of ultrasonic impulse, according to work order specifications. Pushes button to turn on electric-ultrasonic equipment. Fills joint with solder and positions ultrasonic horn on outside of joint to transfer energy impulse from equipment to workpiece, to bond solder and base metal.
