In this job you work with clients individually to help them figure out their fitness goals and then create a workout routine that will get the job done. Making the best possible exercise regime means keeping things in mind like the client’s schedule, any previous injuries they might have and their personal preference for different types of exercise.
Since working out too hard or too much can cause health problems the first thing you need a client do is get cleared by their doctor as healthy to exercise. After this you instruct them on the correct way to train, demonstrating the right way to lift weights or showing a new running form. You also make sure to monitor your clients as they take part in your created routines. Monitoring not only lets you see if a health problem comes up but also lets you keep track of their progress and make sure their fitness goals are being met.
Part of this job is keeping your clients motivated. Losing weight is hard and not often fun, but switching up routines and types of exercises as well as making sweet music mixes can go a long way in keeping someone interested in working out.
