Industrial Painter Helper

In order to get the career you want, you sometimes have to spend quite a bit of time climbing the ladder up to the top. The position of Industrial Painter Helper is one rung in that ladder. An Industrial Painter Helper job is one you have to take and spend some time in on your way to becoming a full-fledged Industrial Painter.

The good news, though, is you don’t have to spend too much time working as an Industrial Painter Helper before you can move up. At most, you need about two years before you can drop the “helper” part of your title, and (hopefully) pick up a pay raise.

As an Industrial Painter Helper, you make life easier for the Industrial Painter you work under, and all the other ones in your factory. You do things like mixing paint, organizing tools, and replacing basic parts. Like any assistant or helper, you also run errands, move ladders and forklifts, and, in general, do anything else that needs to get done.

Before any job starts, you’re in charge of taping off the areas that aren’t meant to be covered in paint, and prepping the area in general. While the painting is in progress, you assist in any way you can. For example, if something breaks or is missing, you’re the one who runs off to find a replacement. This part of your job is important because if the Painter stops working and the paint dries, the end product will look messy and unprofessional.
