As a Human Resource Manager, you fit the very definition of a “people person,” as you recruit, advise, and aid the employees of your company.

A job as a Human Resource Manager has you walking the line between keeping employees happy and making sure the business profits. You interview and hire individuals who fit the bill for each available job. You then offering training seminars and teach employees the basics, like good communication skills, and the more complex such as how to use the company’s new software system.

For current employees you listen to complaints, take action when problems arise, and determine when to give bonuses and vacation days. For example if Bob is having a problem with another employee, you help them work it out. If Sally feels unhappy with her paycheck, you step in to negotiate any possibility of a raise.
