Tests water to determine acidity, using titration equipment, and calculates quantity of chemicals required to neutralize water. Opens valves to admit specified amount of chemicals into mixing tank and starts motor to mix chemicals with water. Starts pumps or opens valves to discharge water and accumulated sludge into waterway.
