As technology advances, so does bomb construction. You need to be mechanically savvy and dedicated to continuing your technical education. Using equipment such as specialized bomb suits, x-ray, and special breathing apparatuses, you’re able to go into a sticky situation and diffuse a ticking time bomb. You also conduct post-bomb investigations, and develop emergency procedures that citizens can follow in case of a bomb threat.

Luckily, you don’t have to go it alone when you’re on the job. Bomb squads consist of a Lieutenant, a Sergeant, and multiple Detectives. Together with them, as well as other Bomb Squad Technicians, you make decisions on how to approach potential threats.
