ATM Servicer

While some people enjoy visiting the bank and chatting with the Tellers, others prefer to skip the long lines. To do their banking, these customers may rely exclusively on ATMs, or automated teller machines.

Common and convenient, ATMs are extremely useful…as long as they’re kept in perfect working order. But when ATM disaster strikes, it’s the job of an ATM Servicer to come to the rescue. You’re in charge of keeping these convenient machines running in tip top condition.

When ATMs start misbehaving (for instance, not handing out money), you’re given a full report of the problem. Sometimes, the problem is as simple as a loose electrical connection, so you drive over and fix the machine on the spot.

Other times, however, the machine may need extensive repairs, so you take it to your shop. ATMs are extremely heavy, and they’re usually bolted in place so nobody can run away with all that money. When you must move a machine, you unbolt it, attach a hydraulic lift, and lift it onto your truck.

Once the machine is in your shop, you may replace computer systems, wiring, card readers, or other equipment. When the repairs are done, you return the machine back to its original spot.
