Ornamental-Metal Worker
Set up and operate machines to fabricate ornamental metal products.
Feeds components, such as barrels, caps, cartridges, and nibs into and removes assembled pens and pencils from automatic assembly machine: Places components in predetermined sequence on revolving spindles or dumps components into hoppers. Lifts assembled pens or pencils from machine spindles and inspects for loose components. Places inspected units on conveyor. May be designated according to component or station as Assembly-Machine Feeder; Assembly-Machine Offbearer; Cartridge Feeder.
