Internet Reputation Manager
Keep companies safe from negative publicity in the Internet.
Advertising Directors oversee and implement a company’s entire advertising strategy. The position is responsible for getting products or services seen and heard about, ultimately driving sales and fattening wallets. Advertising Director can be a very stressful and fast-paced position, but big rewards will be waiting for you if you can stand the heat.
As Advertising Director, you need to be well-rounded and able to shift from one skill set to another because you’ll wear many hats. You’ll set budgets for ad campaigns and manage the creation of collateral sales materials like brochures, catalogs and media kits. You’ll negotiate with Outside Sales Representatives and be called upon to motivate a team of in-house Sales Reps to meet or exceed their monthly goals, sometimes with contests or other incentive programs. You’ll also track ad campaigns to make sure they are performing well and selling enough products.
If you’re the kind of person who likes to find out how people tick, loves to talk and thinks business strategy works best when based on Sun Tzu’s The Art of War, you’ll have plenty of opportunities as an Advertising Director. Getting inside your buyer’s head will be critical in advancing your success.
