If you have a flair for the creative, know innately what looks good in a home, and are good at observing, listening to and asking the right questions of people, you could be great in this career.
A Bachelors of Interior Design will give you the training, experience and knowledge you need to succeed.
You begin this degree with courses in drawing, perspective, proportion, color theory, basic design, and other fundamentals. You next move on to industry-specific training, such as CAD design, architectural detailing, lighting design, building codes, 3-D modeling, and other topics you will encounter in the field. By the time you graduate, you will have developed the skills to design residential and commercial spaces.
