What do Utilities and Maintenance Supervisors do?

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining building utility systems, such as electrical wiring and control systems, heating, ventilating, water supply, steam generating, and related pipe systems. Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title. May compile reports of cost of completed work. May inspect systems to determine preventative maintenance needs. May supervise workers engaged in maintaining and repairing processing equipment and machinery [MAINTENANCE-MECHANIC SUPERVISOR 638.131-022]. May supervise workers engaged in maintaining buildings and grounds.
