What do Tar Distillation Supervisors do?

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operation of stills to distill crude oil, produce pitch, and to recover naphthalene-bearing oils and creosote oils. Trains workers in operation of equipment. Analyzes laboratory reports and test results of materials, and orders process changes as required. Performs duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
