What do Spun Paste Machine Operators do?

Tends machine and injection equipment that line dry-cell battery cans with liquid paste that serves as separator between anode and cathode and as reservoir for portion of electrolyte: Turns valve to open paste line and admit paste to reservoir of injection device. Starts machine and feeds unlined cans into openings in dial-type holder that positions cans to receive injection of measured amount of paste and spins cans to distribute paste evenly. Pushes unlined cans into opening to eject lined cans, dropping them onto conveyor belt leading to dryer. Removes excess paste from face of dial, using hand scraper.
