Operates band ripsaw to cut bolts into shakes: Starts saw and positions bolt on saw table. Pushes and guides bolt through saw so that bolt is cut diagonally to form shakes. Trims edges of shake with saw or saws and grades shake according to length and width. Tosses shake into bin according to grade. May replace saw bands, using handtools.
