What do Sample Shoe Inspector and Reworkers do?

Inspects sample and nonsample uppers and shoes and removes imperfections: Examines sample uppers for blemishes, such as wrinkles, rough seams, and bulges. Removes blemishes with handtools, such as electric irons, hammers, and knives. Disassembles blemished nonsample shoes received from packing inspectors and sample uppers having defects, such as broken stitches, torn parts, and discolored materials, for reassembly by other workers.
