What do Painting Shipyard Supervisors do?

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in painting parts, equipment, ships, and buildings in ship and boat building establishment: Trains new workers in operation of painting equipment. Inspects surface of area to be painted to determine worker assignments, such as sandblasting, wire brushing, scraping, and painting. Examines surfaces subsequent to painting to verify adherence to specified standards. Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
