What do Icers do?

Deposits layer of crushed ice on fresh food products packed in barrels, boxes, or crates, to refrigerate them during shipment: Scrapes off surplus ice and passes crate along conveyor system, slides crate to LIDDER, or places lid on container and moves container to storage or shipping area, using handtruck. May shovel ice into ice compartment of food distribution trucks. May be designated according to container in which product is packed as Box Icer; Crate Icer; or according to product iced as Fish Icer.
