What do Hopper Feeders do?

Rakes cooked offal or tankage from cookers or from platform near press into hopper of hydraulic press used to extract grease. Cleans working area and scrubs floors, using cleaning agents and brushes. May rake crackling residue from extractor tanks onto conveyor and start pump to transfer solvent to extractor tanks to dissolve crackling and be designated Extractor Puller.
