What do Group Sales Representatives do?

Promotes sale of group or season tickets for sports or other entertainment events: Telephones, visits, or writes to organizations, such as chambers of commerce, corporate-employee-recreation clubs, social clubs, and professional groups, to persuade them to purchase group tickets or season tickets to sports or other entertainment events, such as baseball, horseracing, or stage plays. Quotes group-ticket rates, arranges for sale of tickets and seating for group on specific date(s), and obtains payment. May arrange for club to sponsor sports event, such as one of races at horseracing track.
