What do Felting Machine Operator Helpers do?

Assists FELTING-MACHINE OPERATOR to attach reinforcing burlap to felt strips or to compress layers of felt: Lifts bats of felt into place at end of conveyor. Smooths wrinkles from felt, and plucks foreign matter from felt, using tweezers. Laps ends of felt bats with ends of successive bats to form continuous strips of padding. Performs other duties as described under HELPER Master Title.
