What do Drifters do?

Tends drifting machine that removes scale from inner surfaces of pipe: Installs specified drift mandrel in machine, using handtools, and inserts pipe into head of machine. Moves controls to tighten pneumatic grip that holds pipe in position, and to move mandrel in and out of pipe to loosen scale.
