What do Die Trippers do?

Tends machine that cuts extruded tile or pipe clay column to specified lengths: Swabs press die with oil between operations to prevent adhesion of clay. Moves levers in coordination with movements of machine and AUGER PRESS OPERATOR, MANUAL CONTROL to form bell or socket of pipe and to cut it to size. May change press dies.
