Operates crozer machine to cut croze in wooden tank staves, into which tank bottom is fitted: Starts machine. Places stave on machine table, aligns mark on stave with cutoff saw blade, and depresses pedal to clamp stave in position. Pulls saw and dado-cutter assembly across stave. Releases pedal and slides stave along machine bench to helper.
