What do Corset Fitters do?
Fits and alters foundation garments, such as girdles and corsets, to customer’s measurements: Measures customer, using tape measure, and records measurements on alteration tag. Pins garment at various points or marks with chalk to indicate alterations required. Sews garment by hand or machine, performing alterations, such as adjusting length of garment, garters, or straps, or taking in darts.
