What do Composers do?
Writes musical compositions: Creates musical ideas, using knowledge of harmonic, rhythmic, melodic, and tonal structure and other elements of music theory, such as instrumental and vocal capabilities. Creates original musical form or writes within circumscribed musical form, such as sonata, symphony, or opera. Transcribes ideas into musical notation.
