What do Casters do?
Casts jewelry pieces and ornamental figures for trophies and plaques from molten lead or zinc: Melts zinc or lead alloy bars in kettle. Assembles sections of mold and secures mold with C-clamp. Pours molten metal into mold, using hand ladle. Disassembles mold after specified time and knocks sand from casting, using mallet. Places jewelry piece or figure in tray to cool.
